Cleaning Frequency It is recommended to inspect and clean your turbo cells every 3 months or after 500 hours of use. The frequency of cleaning may also depend on the balance of your water chemistry. Maintaining a well-balanced water chemistry can reduce the frequency of cleaning your cell.

Instructions for Cleaning Salt Cell 1. Turn off the power and pump. 2. Use a high-pressure hose to remove large calcium deposits. 3. Mix a 4:1 solution of water to muriatic acid in a clean plastic container. WARNING: ALWAYS ADD ACID TO WATER, NOT WATER TO ACID. 4. Connect the salt cell to the Swimables Acid Cleaning Kit with the cord side down. Fill the cell with the solution and let it soak for 15 minutes. Repeat if necessary until the cell is clean. 5. Reinstall the salt cell inline and press and hold the "Diagnostic" button for three seconds to turn off the "Inspect Cell" light.
