Big Blue Sediment Water Filter, 10 x 4.5, 0.5 Micron

Pentair Pentek WP-BB Series Cartridges offer an economical solution for reducing fine sediment such as rust, sand, and scale particles. These cartridges, available in 10" and 20" lengths and 4.5" diameters, are made from durable polypropylene string wound around a rigid polypropylene core. The fibrous polypropylene media is wound in a precise pattern to provide a greater surface area, allowing for high flow rates to be maintained.

During the manufacturing process, an anti-static agent is used to reduce the electrical charges produced, ensuring optimal performance. These string-wound cartridges can withstand temperatures up to 165°F (73.9°C) and accommodate flow rates ranging from 10 to 65 GPM with minimal pressure drop. They are suitable for a wide range of sediment applications, including municipal and well water, as well as various industrial fluids.

Please note that the anti-static agent used in the WP-BB Cartridges may cause foaming during the initial startup of a new cartridge. Keep your water clean and protect your appliances by removing dirt, sand, silt, and particulates with these cartridges, which fit all 10" Big Blue Housing and can replace any 10" x 4.5" sediment filter. Their high dirt-catching capacity and flow rates make them ideal for applications such as drinking water purification, irrigation, and industrial processes.
